Full Job Description

Looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to care for our Veterans in a primary care facility. The provider will be responsible to perform evaluations and medical opinions on the Veterans who are seeking disability from the military. The candidate will provide physical exams for the Veterans without treatment. The ideal candidate will be responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best care with no supervision. Exams are one-time, non-treatment exams for individual Veterans in your area. Exams are guided by VA questionnaires on our secure, online portal for ease and efficiency. The candidate will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The candidate will get pay as 1099 independent contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
  • Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
  • Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
  • Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim with 24 to 48 hours
  • All exams will take place at approved facility with candidate own laptop and internet access provided.
  • Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified Family or Adult Nurse Practitioners
  • Board Certified physician Assistant
  • One year Experience or some prior VA work is ideal.
  • Design your own schedule
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Possess own laptop to work

Pay: $200.00 – $500.00 per day
